Audio Technica ATR6550 Shotgun Microphone Review (Video)

The Audio Technica ATR6550 is a great condenser microphone for making Youtube videos. It offers great noise cancellation and better recording than most of the built-in microphones on camcorders and cameras. At the time of making this video, the microphone package cost around $60 on Amazon.

The microphone is about 11 inches long (excluding wire) and about 1 inch in diameter. The package comes with the microphone itself, 1 AA battery, 1 tripod/camera mount, 1 microphone stand mount, 1 foam wind screen, and 1 1/4 inch adapter plug (big microphone jacks). The microphone offers 2 modes of recording. Normal mode is used for recording close sounds and Tele mode is used to record sounds further away.

Youtube Korean Music Wave

To celebrate the long-term partner ship between Google, Youtube, and MBC, Google has presented their employees, guests, and around 2000 lucky fans with tickets to the Youtube funded Kpop Concert! 5 friends and I are lucky enough to be able to go as I know a Google employee and we were able to get tickets! Super Junior, TVXQ, MBLAQ, SISTAR, BEAST, KARA, Wonder Girls, Girls' Generation, and FX all performed at the concert.

The above photo is showing how many people was at the concert! The grass area was all that was left by the time I got there. We had to sit on the floor, then everyone all stood up and we ended up standing for 2 hours. LOL If you want to see the rest of the photos I took, you can find them on my photography blog here.

As a bonus, did you miss the solar eclipse on Sunday? Didn't have the right tools to view it? I got photos of that too!

Here is one photo from the photos I took from the solar eclipse! You can find the rest of the photos I took on my photography blog here.
